Rockstar Reaches Out to Kai Cenat During Live Stream for Potential GTA 6 Collaboration

Kai Cenat received an unexpected message from Rockstar Games during his Twitch stream on September 21, leaving the popular content creator astonished by the developer’s request for a meetup. Reaching out via X/Twitter, Kai quickly noticed an unread message at the top of his direct messages. Just days earlier, the studio had expressed interest in meeting him at TwitchCon, and now they had sent a follow-up.

The initial message stated: “We enjoyed watching your playthrough of Red Dead Redemption 2 and would love to introduce ourselves. If you’re planning to be at [TwitchCon], please let us know. All the best, The Rockstar Games Community Team.”

Due to his ongoing Sekiro marathon, Cenat inquired, “can we reschedule maybe?”

“All good! We’d be happy to meet up in New York when we are back,” Rockstar replied, also requesting, “Shoot over your email and we’ll reach out. Additionally, if your team is available, feel free to send over their contact as well, and we’ll link up with them. Thanks!”

Despite Rockstar remaining tight-lipped about the purpose of the meeting, Cenat couldn’t contain his excitement, suggesting, “A GTA 6 marathon is going to hit differently,” and added, “Rockstar, if you give it to me a day early or two days early…I just need it 30 minutes early Rockstar.”

Fans eagerly awaiting the next installment of Rockstar’s flagship franchise are still in the dark about the exact release date for GTA 6. However, following speculation about a possible delay, parent company Take-Two Interactive confirmed on September 18 that the highly anticipated sequel is still scheduled for a Fall 2025 release.
