She expressed, “Such comments feel incredibly overwhelming, and I am truly grateful for them.”

The movie “Hear Me: Our Summer” explores the refreshing and romantic dynamics between Yong Jun, portrayed by Hong Kyung, who pursues love boldly, and Yeo Reum, played by Roh Yoon-seo, who discovers the meaning of sincerity, alongside her supportive younger sister, Ga Eul, played by Kim Min-ju. It is a Korean adaptation of the Taiwanese film “Hear Me” (2010) and marks the second directorial effort of Jo Seon-ho following his debut with “A Day” in 2017.

Roh Yoon-seo shared her thoughts on the adaptation, stating, “Initially, I was concerned about how to effectively translate the essence of the original Taiwanese film to a Korean audience. However, I discovered that our culture brings a unique charm to the narrative. Certain dialogues resonate even more powerfully here, and we focused on evoking our own emotions authentically. I believe we’ve succeeded in showcasing our distinct sensibility.”

In addition, “Hear Me: Our Summer” is scheduled to be released on November 6.
