Renowned for her past successes in both the UFC and WWE, Ronda Rousey asserts that Logan Paul is being favored with more favorable treatment compared to what she experienced during her tenure with the organization.
Ever since making his debut in the WWE, Logan Paul has been a force to be reckoned with, showcasing his impressive abilities in the ring and earning the title of US Champion. He successfully defended his championship at WrestleMania 40, solidifying his place in the wrestling world.
Despite his success, Paul’s actions have caused some former wrestlers to feel uneasy. On Steve-O’s Wild Ride podcast, UFC legend Ronda Rousey expressed her belief that ‘The Maverick’ has been receiving preferential treatment in order to improve his skills and create highly publicized fights.
Rousey concurred with Steve-O’s assessment that Logan Paul is a talented performer while conversing with the ‘Jackass’ star. However, she expressed a desire for equal time to rehearse, which she feels Paul has been given an advantage of.
The segment starts at 46:55.
“The distribution is not equal. He is considered as their upcoming prominent star. They are giving him special treatment. This demonstrates that with ample rehearsal time and resources, incredible achievements can be accomplished. It’s disheartening that not everyone receives the same opportunities.”
Rousey elaborated on her initial match, describing it as an “unforgettable experience”due to the six weeks she had to prepare and its status as an “instant classic.”However, she expressed disappointment in never receiving a similar opportunity afterwards.
“Why isn’t this the model?”she asked. “Logan Paul is having these amazing performances and they’re following a similar approach. Just imagine what you all could achieve with organization and effort! It’s mind-boggling that this billion-dollar company is able to succeed despite its many shortcomings.”
Ronda has recently been promoting her new book ‘Our Fight’, which explores her journey from the peak of her career in MMA to her time in WWE. The news coincides with the release of her book.
