The emerging K-pop ensemble POW has recently secured an incredible opportunity to collaborate with the globally acclaimed pop-punk artist, Avril Lavigne!
On October 10, it was officially revealed that the boy band is set to release their song “Boyfriend,”which reimagines Lavigne’s popular track “Girlfriend,”originally launched in 2007.
The announcement clarified that the new song from the K-pop group was crafted with contributions from Lavigne herself, along with both original and fresh songwriters.

Following the exciting news, POW’s fan base erupted on social media, vocalizing their enthusiasm for this monumental collaboration.

POW is the inaugural group from GRID Entertainment and consists of five talented members: Jungbin, Yorch, Hong, Hyunbin, and Dongyeon.
The group presented their pre-debut track “Favorite”on September 13, 2023, and made their official debut in October with their EP carrying the same title.
