YouTube personality Rosanna Pansino has recently issued a strong demand for fellow creator MrBeast, urging him to “cease and desist” from using her likeness in promotional campaigns for his Feastables chocolate bars. This call to action emphasizes ongoing tensions between the two popular figures on the platform.
Pansino, a well-known content creator in her own right, has not hesitated to express her discontent with MrBeast, also known as Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson. Over the past year, she publicly accused him of manipulating her appearance in the Creator Games 3 video, suggesting that her performance was intentionally downplayed in the editing process.
Her criticisms have escalated further, with Pansino alleging that she reported MrBeast to the FBI after supposedly uncovering unsettling text exchanges between him and former team members. This allegation has added another layer to their contentious relationship.
In her latest revelation, Pansino has turned her attention to Feastables after discovering that her image appears on its packaging. This follows her earlier criticisms and has led to a renewed fervor on social media regarding their ongoing dispute.
Demand for Action on Marketing Misuse
On December 30, 2024, Pansino took to X (formerly Twitter) to share her frustrations with MrBeast. Along with her commentary, she included a clip from her YouTube review video where she discusses the Feastables line and other products created by fellow YouTubers.
In the video, she demonstrated how scanning the QR code on the back of a Feastables chocolate bar leads viewers to the Feastables website, where her GIF appears with her saying, “Let’s get started.” This revelation sparked Pansino’s ire, prompting her to passionately state, “Seriously, Jimmy? Cease and desist, b*tch. This is… you need to quit. That is just disgusting. I don’t want my face anywhere near anything you are promoting.”
Pansino reiterated her stance in her social media post, expressing her desire to disconnect entirely from what she referred to as “his cheap garbage.” Her comments have ignited conversations across various platforms, with some users speculating about the potential for legal actions and others questioning the legitimacy of her claims given that the GIF is publicly accessible.
So apparently MrBeast is using my face without permission (and has been for months) when you scan the QR code on the back of a @Feastables chocolate bar. For the record, I want absolutely nothing to do with his cheap garbage 🗑️🤮 pic.twitter.com/VZbn8e1J8H

Legal experts are weighing in on the matter. According to business lawyer Helen Sedwick, the unauthorized use of an individual’s likeness for commercial gain can infringe upon that person’s publicity rights, which could lead to monetary penalties for the infringer. Sedwick also noted the complexities surrounding the definitions of commercial versus non-commercial use.
As of now, MrBeast has not publicly addressed Pansino’s accusations, maintaining a focus on his ongoing projects, such as his recent advocacy for Lunchly, a lunch kit service that faced criticism in November. This situation continues to evolve, and it remains to be seen how both creators will navigate their increasingly public dispute.
