Rosanna Pansino Finds “Disgusting” Moldy Cheese in Lunchly Meal Kit

Rosanna Pansino made a startling revelation while filming a YouTube video: she uncovered moldy cheese in a Lunchly meal, despite the package indicating the expiration date was still two months away.

During her YouTube video uploaded on October 20, Pansino expressed her disgust at this unexpected find while comparing Lunchables to Lunchly. She shared her experience through a series of tweets, stating:

“As I was filming, I opened ‘The Pizza’ Lunchly and was horrified to find MOLD on the cheese! The expiration date was still two months away! After checking online, I discovered that a number of others had also reported finding mold in their Lunchly meals.”

One user commented, “This situation is alarming. There’s no way they didn’t conduct proper shelf life testing after transportation; this definitely warrants an investigation.”

Another chimed in with a reference to fellow YouTuber DanTDM, saying, “Turns out DanTDM was right about this. Completely gross!” A third person humorously remarked, “What a great product to market towards kids.”

Some social media users dismissed her claims as “fake” and “cap,” with one stating, “I’d be inclined to believe this, but since it’s you, I wouldn’t be shocked if it was planned.” This remark alludes to Pansino’s previous criticisms of MrBeast, including her accusations that he edited her out of the top three in his Creator Games 3 video, for which she later expressed regret and deleted her tweets, admitting she should have handled it privately. Nonetheless, she has consistently criticized him publicly.

Pansino responded to the doubts, saying, “I did not stage this video. We purchased this Lunchly from the store well before its expiration date and put it in our fridge within 20 minutes.”

History of Backlash for Lunchly

Lunchly has been under scrutiny since its launch, facing criticism for various reasons. Designed to rival Lunchables, it features products from YouTubers like MrBeast’s Feastables chocolate, alongside Logan Paul and KSI’s Prime hydration drink, offering three meal options: Turkey, Pizza, and Nachos.

Critics have raised concerns regarding the health benefits of these new lunch products, labeling them as “packed with GMO ingredients and seed oils.”

Logan Paul defended Lunchly by citing statistics that compared it to Lunchables, arguing that many Lunchly meals contain lower calories and sugar but provide more electrolytes.

Numerous content creators, particularly DanTDM, have criticized the product, accusing it of being “a scheme to sell junk food to kids who aren’t aware,” which has prompted KSI to frequently retaliate against DanTDM’s remarks.

As of this writing, neither Lunchly, MrBeast, Logan Paul, nor KSI has publicly addressed the issue of the allegedly moldy cheese found in the meal.
