Rosé’s “APT.” Breaks BLACKPINK’s Billboard Hot 100 Record

Rosé from BLACKPINK, along with pop sensation Bruno Mars, has achieved a remarkable milestone for female K-pop artists on the U.S. Billboard charts. Their collaborative track “APT.” made its debut at the 8th position on the Billboard Hot 100, marking a personal best for Rosé and her inaugural entry into the Hot 100 Top 10.

This remarkable feat also eclipses previous records set by BLACKPINK; their highest group single, “Pink Venom,” reached a peak of 22nd, while Rosé’s and Lisa’s solo hits “On The Ground” and “ROCKSTAR,” respectively, both landed at 70th.

The former top-ranking position for a female K-pop artist was held by BLACKPINK’s “Ice Cream” featuring Selena Gomez, which attained 13th place back in 2020. Beyond success on Billboard, “APT.” also debuted impressively on the UK Official Singles Chart, securing the No. 4 spot.

Since its release on October 18, “APT.” has ignited a global sensation, with Rosé dominating domestic music charts. She has emerged as the first female Korean solo artist to achieve the No. 1 position on the U.S. Spotify chart and has seen unprecedented success on the Global Spotify Daily Top Songs Chart.
