To successfully complete the Straight Record quest, you are required to achieve the following objectives:

Reach Victory Ridge.
Locate the old EMP Trap.
Turn off the first power switch.
Turn off the second power switch.
Turn off the third power switch.
Deactivate the EMP trap.

The quest includes several objectives, and locating the EMP trap alongside three separate switches is essential for completion. Fortunately, these objectives are clustered in proximity to each other, though you may encounter fewer players in this area of the map. Given that you’ll be venturing to the outskirts, particularly near Victory Ridge, you’re less likely to run into enemy raiders, enhancing your chances of success.

The old EMP trap is situated along the dirt road, identifiable as an electric street post. Use the above map to find its exact position. Interact with it for an investigation, after which you will return to this spot upon completing all the power switches.
