According to TechCrunch, Instagram is piloting a new service called Instagram Plus in select countries, including Canada, Japan, and the Philippines. For a nominal fee, subscribers can access features that enhance their interaction with Stories while maintaining anonymity.

- The ability to view Stories without revealing your identity to the poster.
- Insight into how many users have revisited their own Stories.
- The option to extend the visibility period of Stories from 24 hours to 48 hours.
