Rumored Characters in Venom 3

The unexpected release of the Venom 3 trailer has led fans to believe that Peter Parker and Aunt May will finally make an appearance in the film.

Despite very little information being revealed, Venom: The Last Dance has been steadily progressing. Fans were surprised when a trailer rating at the end of May hinted at its arrival, but they didn’t anticipate it coming so soon.

Despite the chaotic action of soldiers searching for Eddie and Venom under Chiwetel Ejiofor’s command and Symbiotes causing chaos on Earth, many fans were drawn to a family caught in the midst of the destruction.

After watching the Venom 3 trailer, social media users strongly believe that the family on the train is Aunt May and Peter Parker. Many also speculate that this film will mark the first appearance of Spider-Man in the Venom universe, although he may be portrayed as a younger version of himself.

Despite speculation from fans, the Venom films have remained in their own distinct continuity and have not been officially linked to the Andrew Garfield Amazing Spider-Man universe. The films have yet to provide any confirmation on this matter.

As of now, the only confirmed link between Venom 3 and Peter Parker is the hint given in the post-credits scene of Let There Be Carnage, where the symbiote showed recognition towards Spidey. Considering the strong influence of the MCU on this film, it is reasonable to expect that this connection will be further explored in the story.

Despite the chaos, it is difficult to determine the identity of the random family briefly shown on camera. However, this is not the first time Sony or the MCU has attempted this.

For quite some time, Sony has utilized the possibility of a Spider-Man appearance to promote their expanding universe of Marvel movies. In Morbius, there were posters of the Raimi Spider-Man that were ultimately removed. Similarly, in Madame Web, the birth of Richard and Mary Parker’s son (whose name is not mentioned in the film) was a crucial plot element.

Similarly, the MCU has also retroactively incorporated this type of storytelling. Following the release of Captain America: Civil War, it was revealed that the young boy rescued by Iron Man at the Stark Expo was actually Peter Parker, providing an explanation for the connection between the MCU’s Spider-Man and his admiration for Iron Man.

It appears that Venom: The Last Dance will center around a conflict between symbiotes and the eventual demise of its main character. Fans will simply have to be patient to find out if it also establishes the newest version of Spider-Man beyond the boundaries of the MCU.

The release date for Venom: The Last Dance is October 25, 2024.
