<p>Almost two years after its initial launch, whispers are circulating about the possibility of new content for Hogwarts Legacy, potentially in the form of a definitive edition.
Despite facing some controversy upon release, Hogwarts Legacy built a committed fanbase since its debut in February 2023. However, information regarding future content or expansions has been sparse.
Recently, speculations about a definitive edition were sparked by a report from Insider Gaming, where insider Tom Henderson discussed the development.
According to Insider Gaming, “a Hogwarts Legacy Definitive Edition is currently under development.” This new edition is rumored to feature over 10 hours of downloadable content (DLC), enhancing the narrative experience for players. Existing players will be able to purchase this expansion separately.
Although these claims have yet to receive confirmation from Warner Bros, Henderson suggested that the potential expansion could be a strategic response to the underwhelming performance of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. He also estimated that the price for the Definitive Edition could range between $20 and $30.
The exact details of what additional content may enrich the story of Hogwarts Legacy remain unclear, as fans ponder how it could connect to the established Harry Potter universe. Nevertheless, the prospect of reigniting their adventures in the game has excited many.
