Ryan Garcia threatens Conor McGregor and accuses him of taking steroids

After being targeted by a harsh social media post from ex-UFC titleholder Conor McGregor, 25-year-old boxing sensation Ryan Garcia has fired back with a menacing reply of his own.

Despite his recent impressive win against the unbeaten Devin Haney, Ryan Garcia’s reputation was tarnished when he tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs before and after their April 20 match.

Despite the anticipation for the fight, it was overshadowed by controversy when Garcia was unable to make weight and was therefore unable to challenge for Haney’s WBC junior welterweight title.

According to the report from the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association, it was found that Garcia had Ostarine in his system, which is considered a banned substance according to boxing’s list of performance-enhancing drugs.

Despite never hesitating to voice his thoughts on combat sports, Conor McGregor took to social media to criticize Garcia. The outspoken ‘Mystic Mac’ expressed feeling “disheartened and slightly unsettled”upon learning the news.

In the post that has since been deleted from X, 35-year-old McGregor demanded that Garcia be banned from boxing for life and also challenged the controversial fighter to a sparring match.

Despite the fact that McGregor quickly deleted the post, Garcia was still able to see it. In his most recent online reply, the boxing champion vowed to bring violence.

During an interview on X, Garcia stated that if he were to encounter Conor McGregor, he would fracture his weak ankle. He went on to accuse McGregor of using steroids, which he believes is the reason for his prolonged absence from the UFC.

In a subsequent video, Garcia continued to taunt McGregor. “I’ll defeat Conor McGregor convincingly. He can even use steroids and I’ll still prove it.”

This allegation from Garcia surfaces just weeks before McGregor’s highly-anticipated comeback to the octagon at UFC 303. After almost three years, the Irishman will be making his promotional debut against Michael Chandler in his upcoming fight.

According to Garcia, the 25-year-old boxer maintains his innocence and claims to have never taken steroids in his life. He believes that the failed drug test was caused by an herbal supplement known as Ashwagandha Root.

The boxing commission will carry out a comprehensive investigation to verify the outcomes of Garcia’s two drug tests that were deemed unsuccessful. In the meantime, the 25-1 boxer dismisses it as “false news.”
