Ryzen 5 X3D Chip Surpasses Zen 5 CPUs in Latest Benchmark Results

The new AMD Ryzen 5 7600X3D has been tested by hardware experts, who have thoroughly evaluated its capabilities through various benchmarks. The results show that this processor outperforms even the Zen 5 chips in terms of performance.

Last month, AMD revealed that the Ryzen 5 7600X3D would soon be available in the US market, but with certain limitations. The product was exclusively sold by one retailer and could only be purchased as part of a hardware bundle.

The CPU is now beginning to make its way into other international markets, and a German publication was able to obtain a sample. Naturally, the team wasted no time in conducting benchmarking tests on the CPU.

The primary benefit of the 7600X3D is its efficiency, evident at first glance. While the 7600X3D, 7900X3D, and 7950X3D all possess a TDP of 120W, the recently released 7600X3D boasts a much lower TDP of 65W, making it significantly more efficient.

The most noteworthy findings were obtained when comparing the statistics to those of other Ryzen CPUs. Surprisingly, the 7600X3D outperformed both the 7900X3D and the recently released Zen 5 9700X CPU in gaming situations.

Nevertheless, the Intel 13600K and 14600K, which are also more competitively priced, outperformed the processor in terms of speed.

The team at PC Games Hardware emphasized that the 7600X3D is designed for gaming and features a six-core processor. It boasts a base clock speed of 4.1GHz and a boost clock speed of 4.75GHz, which is slightly lower than the 7800X3D by 100 MHz and 300 MHz, respectively.

Despite its impressive performance in gaming tasks due to its 3D V-Cache, the 7600X3D faces difficulties when it comes to application and productivity.

In conclusion, the 7600X3D excels in efficiency and gaming performance, but falls short in terms of price and productivity compared to its competitors from Intel. Nevertheless, AMD has a track record of promptly implementing price reductions for its hardware, potentially making this processor more appealing.
