Saadhak Close to Joining KRÜ Esports’ Valorant Roster – Latest Report

Long-time LOUD captain Matias ‘Saadhak’ Delipetro is reportedly in the final stages of negotiations to join the Argentine VCT Americas organization, KRÜ Esports Valorant squad.

The 2022 World Championship winner announced on September 6 via a social media video that he is moving on from the Brazilian organization. He did not disclose which teams he was considering for the 2025 season. LOUD stated that Saadhak’s contract would end in 2024, announced on September 5, allowing him to receive offers for the upcoming season.

A report emerged shortly after Saadhak’s video release by Brazilian insider Bruno Povoleri, confirming that the player is in the final stages of negotiations with KRÜ Esports.

KRÜ is considered “the favorite” to sign the Valorant in-game leader, with an agreement between LOUD and the Argentinian organization anticipated soon.

While Saadhak can explore offers from various teams, as he is still under contract with LOUD, the organization can negotiate a buyout for him.

KRÜ might opt to wait until his contract expires to avoid paying a premium for Saadhak, but this approach carries the risk of LOUD approving his transfer to another team. The potential buyout price has not been reported.

Saadhak made a significant name for himself in Valorant with LOUD, winning the Valorant Champions 2022 and finishing second at Masters Reykjavík and VCT LOCK//IN. The 2024 season was the team’s sole dip in performance, missing out on Masters Shanghai and Valorant Champions.

Although KRÜ Esports has not achieved the same international success as LOUD, it has maintained a presence at major tournaments, being one of the few organizations to appear at every World Championship.

This move by the Argentinian organization indicates a significant roster reset is forthcoming. Saadhak played a crucial role in building successful teams for LOUD, showcasing talent scouting and strategic planning skills.

This news stands out as one of the most significant stories from the 2024/25 VCT offseason thus far.
