Saitama could hold the key to Blast’s ultimate plan in One Punch Man

The One Punch Man series continues to build up excitement as the focus shifts towards Blast, the highest-ranked S-Class hero. This character’s significance to the plot and enigmatic nature have captured the attention of fans. Despite his minimal presence in the anime and manga series thus far, Blast remains a highly intriguing figure.

Despite his infrequent presence at meetings and lack of concern for events on his home planet, fans were continually reminded of his significance as the sole fighter from his planet who protects Earth from god-level threats in another dimension.

Nonetheless, the Monster Association arc featured a clash between Saitama and Garou that caught his attention. In a recent chapter, his exchange with Sitch seemed to suggest that Saitama could hold the key to his strategy for defeating God.

Those who have kept up with the latest manga chapters will be aware that Blast has crossed paths with God multiple times and even engaged in a battle with the enigmatic being. While we still have limited knowledge about their abilities, it is clear that God is on the path to becoming the primary antagonist of the series. As the tension rises, it becomes evident that Blast sees Saitama as a potential game-changer in this confrontation.

After discussing with Sitch, he shared his analysis of the fight between the Caped Baldy and Garou. He expressed his inability to fully understand the extent of Saitama’s powers, which visibly worried Blast. It was rare for someone like him to show such concern. Sitch also grasped the seriousness of the situation. Additionally, Blast reassured Sitch that there was no need to be anxious as he didn’t sense any malicious intent from Saitama.

Blast is aware of his limitless power and realizes that he could potentially enlist the help of an A-class hero in his mission to defeat God. However, he is currently being cautious and closely monitoring the hero. This is because Blast briefly contemplated controlling him, which is why he informed Sitch that the Caped Baldy was free to roam.

Blast is unaware that Saitama possesses boundless potential and experiences continuous growth. This rare combination is a result of Saitama removing the limitations that are inherent in all human beings. This is what earned him the title of the “fist that defied God”.

If Blast applies his expert analytical skills, he will eventually come to understand that Saitama is the crucial factor in defeating God. Nonetheless, it remains to be seen if Blast and Saitama will join forces in the final stages of the series to take on God.
