On October 16, 2024, the highly anticipated Sakamoto Days anime revealed an exciting new visual showcasing the ORDER assassins. Along with this visual, additional cast members were announced, particularly the voices behind the elite task force ORDER. The reveal of the cast and their respective characters was conducted through a series of dedicated announcement videos.
The Sakamoto Days anime, brought to life by TMS Entertainment, is scheduled to debut in January 2025. This manga series, created by Yuto Suzuki, first appeared in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in November 2020 and has since accumulated 18 compiled volumes, boasting over 5.5 million copies in circulation.
New ORDER Visual Revealed for Sakamoto Days Anime
On the aforementioned date, the official X (previously Twitter) account for the Sakamoto Days anime released a new visual spotlighting the ORDER assassins.
This graphic prominently features the members of the ORDER task force, a prestigious unit operating directly under the Japan Assassin’s League, known for housing the finest assassins in the field.
The latest visual showcases new characters including Yoichi Nagumo, Shishiba, Osaragi, Hyo, Takamura, and features Taro Sakamoto, the series’ protagonist, who is depicted in the background as a former member of ORDER.
So far, the anime has disclosed three new voice actors: Nagumo, Shishiba, and Osaragi. Individual introduction videos of each character were shared on TMS Entertainment’s official YouTube Channel, revealing their respective designs across social media platforms.
Natsuki Hanae has been cast to voice Yoichi Nagumo. He has acclaimed for his roles as Tanjiro Kamado in Demon Slayer , Ken Takakura (Okarun) in Dandadan , Kourai Hoshuimi in Haikyuu!! , and Ikki Niko in Blue Lock .
Taku Yashiro has been selected to voice Shishiba, who is characterized as a composed member of ORDER, utilizing a nail hammer. His notable roles include Rick Flag in Suicide Squad ISEKAI, Sanosuke Sagara in Rurouni Kenshin, Kouichi Shindou in Horimiya, and Vulcan Joseph in Fire Force.
Finally, newcomer Saori Hayami will portray Osaragi, a talented individual trained by Shishiba who wields an electric saw. Hayami has lent her voice to Rachel in Tower of God, Shinobu Kochou in Demon Slayer, Yor Forger in Spy X Family, and Miyuki Shiba in The Irregular at Magic High School.
The Sakamoto Days anime is poised to premiere globally on Netflix. While a specific release date has yet to be disclosed, a special presentation is planned for Jump Festa 2025. Fans can anticipate further information regarding the series’ release by December 21, 2024.
