In the preceding chapter, Shishiba had advised Oki on the difficulties of facing off against Sakamoto, Nagumo, and Uzuki simultaneously. This trio consisted of a previous top assassin, a proficient shapeshifter, and the most infamous terrorist in the history of JAA. With Oki’s doubts about the current Order members, he made the decision to recruit two additional members.

The initial recruit, Torres, was an older man completely focused on a game of chance. Shishiba, irritated by Torres’ pleas for a loan to continue gambling, lashed out at him. To Shishiba’s surprise, his hammer broke upon contact, leaving him in awe.

Tanabata, the second recruit, was a musician whose melodies evoked a melancholic feeling in Osaragi and caused her to briefly lose consciousness. He explained that his music was a reflection of the pleasure he experienced when he took a life for the first time.

After the introductions were completed, Oki made it clear that despite Sakamoto, Nagumo, and Uzuki being former colleagues, they were to be eliminated without hesitation.

As Hana’s birthday approached, Sakamoto found himself stress eating while trying to figure out the perfect gift for her. Nagumo then came up with the idea of using a disguise. They proceeded to transform Sakamoto into a young woman, Shin into a man with black hair and glasses, and Nagumo into a stout man.

During their outing, they unexpectedly encountered the Order members. Shin was nervous, but Sakamoto and Nagumo attempted to silently communicate with him, reminding him to remain calm. They knew that a single slip in his façade could jeopardize their disguise.

The final chapter concluded with an intense moment as Sakamoto and Torres shared a meaningful glance.

The upcoming chapter 170 of Sakamoto Days will reveal if fans can expect an immediate confrontation between the Order and Sakamoto’s group. In the event of an immediate fight, Sakamoto’s group will face a significant disadvantage due to the Order’s larger numbers and highly skilled assassins.

However, Nagumo’s disguise will only last for a maximum of 30 minutes, so they cannot waste any time.
