Sakamoto Days Chapter 175 Recap
In the preceding installment, Uzuki was introduced as he waited for the assassin he had been assigned to eliminate in the early morning hours.
As Akao continued on her own mission, she noticed that the vehicle she was riding in had veered off course. Her suspicions were raised and she immediately asked the driver to stop. However, it was too late as a tyre had burst. While the driver worked on fixing the tyre, Akao decided to confront her assailant.
During her struggle against the assailant, Akao identified the weapon he was using. As she caught a glimpse of his face, she was shocked to see that it was Uzuki. This realization caused her to become paralyzed with fear. Meanwhile, Uzuki, who was unaware of being framed, continued to thrust his blade at her.
In her last moments, Akao conveyed her remorse to Uzuki, expressing her apology for not being able to protect everyone. She longed for a world where kindness prevailed for all.
Upon being confronted by Asaki, Uzuki was surprised and chastised for his grief. Asaki reminded him that his own misguided choices had led to this outcome and that peace and happiness would always elude him.
Afterward, the chapter revisited the confrontation between Sakamoto and Uzuki. Although Sakamoto had purposefully shot Uzuki to end his life, Uzuki managed to survive the gunshot wound thanks to a unique medical condition called situs inversus. This condition causes an individual’s vital organs to be positioned on the opposite side of their body.
Uzuki came to the realization that the assassin community and regular citizens were equally indifferent towards him. Akao had been the only person to reach out to him, but now that she was gone, he felt disconnected from the rest of society.
After returning to Al-Kamar, he began a rampage of violence, targeting all staff, JAA assassins, and anyone else without discrimination. He then gathered a group of orphans and vowed to annihilate everything in his path.
What to expect from Sakamoto Days chapter 176
The flashback sequence seems to have concluded. In Sakamoto Days chapter 176, readers can anticipate a proper introduction to Gozu and Tenkyu, two orphans who have joined Uzuki’s group but have yet to make an appearance.
The upcoming Sakamoto Days chapter 176 will likely see them confronting the recently formed Order led by Oki. However, Uzuki must also confront his own inability to maintain control in high-pressure situations, which may lead him to betray his comrades.
