Saltburn and Euphoria star Jacob Elordi has become the target of a police investigation after allegedly assaulting a radio producer.
The actor was allegedly involved in an incident on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the Clovelly Hotel in Sydney.
In what appears to have been an attempt at a joke, Jacob Elordi was allegedly approached by Joshua Fox, a producer for The Kyle and Jackie O Show on KIIS FM.
At the time, Joshua Fox was holding a plastic container labeled “Jacob Elordi’s Bath Water,” in reference to a scene from Saltburn that made the rounds on social media, and reportedly asked the star for a “sample.” .

According to The Sydney Morning Herald, Joshua Fox asked the actor: “Jackie wants a birthday present… she’s a big fan of the film.”
When the interpreter of Felix in Saltburn questioned the nature of the request, Joshua Fox then continued and demanded that he add “his bathwater” . The water in question has a direct link to one of the scenes in the film Saltburn, in which Oliver (Barry Keoghan) drinks Felix’s (Jacob Elordi) bath water in an attempt to suck out all the fluids possible. Initially believing it to be a joke, the actor ended up asking to stop filming at the producer’s insistence.
Joshua Fox claims that Jacob Elordi asked him to delete the recording, but the situation escalated when he refused to remove them from his file. “If I delete these images, there will no longer be proof that this meeting took place,” he explained on Monday’s Show.
According to Joshua Fox, Jacob Elordi then “tipped and pushed” the producer “against the wall” , before pretending to strangle him. The outlet reports that Joshua Fox made a report to the Waverley police station in Australia shortly after the alleged confrontation, but has yet to make a formal statement.
For their part (and in comments reported by Variety), the police said: “Officers attached to the Eastern Beaches Police are investigating after a man was allegedly assaulted outside a hotel in the eastern suburbs of Sydney. Police were informed at around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2024, that a 32-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by a 26-year-old man. The first did not suffer any injuries. Investigations into the incident continue.”
As for Jacob Elordi, he has not yet commented on the accusations.
