During an earnings call, Araujo was asked about the future of AI functionality on models such as the S25. In response, he stated that the hardware in the S Series has been consistently upgraded to provide customers with industry-leading experiences. He also mentioned that they will continue to improve key experiences and upgrade hardware in order to offer top performance.

“At launch, the S25 will have top-of-the-line upgrades for camera and display specifications, an area where we have consistently been at the forefront. Additionally, we are diligently working on industry-leading APs and memory to enhance AI performance and provide an exceptional premium experience.”

Although he did not reveal any specific details, past leaks indicate that the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to feature a 200 MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP super-telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom.

In comparison to the camera specifications of the S24 Ultra, this is a significant improvement. It features a 200 MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide lens, a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP super-telephoto camera sensor with 5x optical zoom.

Next-generation Snapdragon System-on-a-Chip Rumor

Furthermore, a tipster by the name of sun.dtsi has recently shared alleged internal testing data of Qualcomm’s highly anticipated flagship mobile chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. According to the tipster, this upcoming SoC will reportedly perform on par with the MediaTek 9300, but will consume only half the power.

This suggests that the chipset’s performance will likely be negatively impacted. The informant adds, “If you value CPU performance, it is best to skip this generation and await the release of 8G5.”
