The upcoming Galaxy S24 FE smartphone from Samsung has been inadvertently revealed on its French support page.
The Galaxy FE series offers a compromise for individuals seeking the features of a high-end device without the cost. The most recent addition to this series, the Galaxy S23 FE, was launched in October 2023 and is set for an upgrade.
Despite Samsung’s previous silence on the matter, a support page on their French website has inadvertently revealed information about the highly anticipated Galaxy S24 FE.
Despite the page being removed, an archived version can still be accessed which mentions a device with the model number “SM-S721B/DS” . However, this page does not provide any technical specifications or additional information about the device.
Despite this, simply glancing at the model numbers for the Samsung Galaxy S24 (SM-S921B) and the Galaxy S23 FE (SM-S711B) would indicate that the phone in question is most likely the Galaxy S24 FE.
Galaxy S23 FE
Surprisingly, a Geekbench report with the identical model number, “Samsung SM-S721B,”was published on July 30. This benchmark report not only provides a glimpse into the anticipated performance of the device, but also confirms the technical specifications that align with the previously linked Galaxy S24 FE.
According to recent reports, it is expected that the Galaxy S24 FE will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and will be powered by either a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Exynos 2400 processor, depending on the region. The device is said to come with 8GB of RAM and will be offered in 128GB and 256GB models.
According to a reliable source and analyst from Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), Ross Young, there has been another report of a potential release of the phone in various colors including black, gray, light blue, light green, and yellow.
Young also mentioned that the Black variant will have the highest availability among all the other versions. To provide a quick comparison, the Galaxy S23 FE was released in Mint, Cream, Purple, Indigo, Graphite, and Tangerine.
