On August 19th, San E’s legal representative relayed his apology to the victim of his recent assault incident, stating “I apologize”on his behalf.
The rapper stated that he must first issue an official apology, but he also expressed his desire to personally meet with the victim and ask for forgiveness.
He expressed, “I extend my apologies to those who have been let down by my actions,”and requested, “Please reprimand me for my mistake.”
The legal representative of San E stated, “We will cooperate fully with the investigation and make every effort to apologize to the victim and provide support for their recovery.”
Reports state that on the 17th, San E was arrested by the police for allegedly assaulting pedestrian A last month in Mangwon-dong, Mapo-gu. A was reportedly injured around their eyes and teeth after San E hit them with a mobile phone, supposedly in response to A’s improper handling of a bicycle in the park. However, the police have clarified that the situation was not a one-sided assault. A has also been charged with assault and the authorities are currently conducting an investigation.
The agency representing San E has stated that the initial police investigation occurred on the 17th and that they will cooperate fully with any future investigations conducted by the police.
