On July 26th, SBS PowerFM’s “Cultwo Show” had special guest appearances by comedian Gwak Beom as a DJ and Brian and Sandara Park as guests.
On July 22nd, YG Entertainment’s producer Yang Hyun-suk made an official announcement regarding the 2NE1 project, providing hints about 2NE1’s upcoming Seoul concert and global tour.
Sandara Park shared her emotions, stating, “I have eagerly awaited this moment for a long time, and I am overjoyed to finally be able to speak proudly to our fans after 8 years.”She continued, “I made the decision to wait until everything was in place before making the announcement. We have just begun rehearsing this week and are working diligently to perfect our performance.”
She further added, “Our tour will continue until the first half of next year. All of our members have paused their solo activities in order to fully devote ourselves to 2NE1,”creating heightened anticipation.
After a decade and a half, 2NE1 is finally set to host their own individual concert. The “2024 2NE1 CONCERT [WELCOME BACK] IN SEOUL” is scheduled for October 5th and 6th at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul. The group has also announced plans to continue their international tour, with upcoming performances in Kobe and Tokyo, Japan.
