After Sarada Uchiha gained the Mangekyo Sharingan at the conclusion of the previous manga, it was expected by fans that she would play a significant role in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. And indeed, she has demonstrated her significance to the series since the first chapter, even without utilizing her evolved dojutsu.
Despite facing criticism for her perceived lack of impact on the story’s plot, Sarada Uchiha is actually a crucial character in the Boruto manga, much like her mother Sakura. This is evident from her recent contributions in the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex arc, demonstrating her importance in the series.

Sarada’s Importance Shines in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex
From the very first chapter of the manga, it is clear that Sarada Uchiha has been advocating for justice against the Hokage Shikamaru Nara. With her ambition to one day become the Hokage herself, it may have seemed risky for Sarada to oppose someone of the same rank. However, she could not ignore the injustice being inflicted upon Boruto and took it upon herself to repeatedly approach Shikamaru, informing him of Kawaki and Boruto’s role reversal.
In addition, Sarada bravely put her life at risk while dealing with Eida and Daemion. She kept the truth hidden from Daemon and Eida that she was not affected by Eida’s infatuation ability. As fans are aware, Eida’s Shinjutsu only works on individuals who are not blood relatives or Otsutsuki, making it possible for those unaffected to oppose her. This gave Sarada and Sumire the advantage to potentially attack Eida without being under her control.
Due to Daemon’s strong affection for his sister, he would never put her life in danger. Therefore, it is likely that he will confront Sarada and Sumire and potentially harm them once he discovers their secret.
Upon Code’s arrival in Konoha, she wasted no time in engaging in a battle with the Claw Grimes. Shortly after, she was confronted by Code himself. In the midst of the chaos, Sarada returned to the fray alongside the other Konoha shinobi to fight the Claw Grimes. Through this, she was able to closely examine the God Trees created by the enemy and ultimately discover that the people trapped within were still alive.
Afterward, she visited the Hokage’s office and confronted Kawaki, effectively communicating the information she had. This also increased her chances of convincing Boruto to return to the Hidden Leaf Village. Although she did encounter Boruto, it was not through formal channels.
As depicted in the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga, Sarada Uchiha is currently en route to confront the evolved God Trees that have invaded the Hidden Leaf Village. In the process, she may face off against the God Tree created by Sasuke Uchiha and Hidari and potentially save Himawari from Jura’s grasp.
The past eight chapters have showcased the importance of Sarada Uchiha in the Naruto franchise. Additionally, her contributions in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga and Naruto Gaiden novels should not be overlooked. It is clear that Sarada’s accomplishments in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga solidify her as one of the top characters in the Naruto series.
