Sarada’s Journey to Ultimate Uchiha Status in Boruto: How Sakura, Not Sasuke, Shapes Her Destiny

The storyline of Boruto and the overall escalation of power levels have greatly exceeded what was showcased in the original Naruto series. Though the current shinobi featured in the series display greater strength compared to their predecessors from Naruto, the protagonist, Boruto, stands as the sole character capable of confronting the Shinju independently.

Sarada is recognized as one of the mightiest shinobi within the narrative, second only to Kawaki and the existing Nine Tails Jinchuriki, Himawari. As the exclusive active Uchiha and a vital emotional support for Boruto, fans speculate that Sarada may continue to wield her regular Mangekyou Sharingan while simultaneously utilizing Sakura’s 100 Healings technique to counter the self-damage incurred from its use.

Sarada: Potentially the Strongest Uchiha to Aid Boruto

In Part 1 of the Boruto series, Sarada activated her Mangekyou Sharingan after witnessing Eida’s overwhelming abilities that altered the memories of those around them. The precise capabilities of her Mangekyou Sharingan remain a mystery, indicated solely by the pattern of her eyes, which confirms its activation.

As the only other Uchiha in the current storyline, Sarada has been incapacitated in the Blue Vortex series, while Boruto has experienced exponential growth in both power and combat skills. With the urgent need for character development, there exists a possibility that Sarada could unlock her Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan.

The evolution of the Sharingan progresses from the standard Sharingan to the Mangekyou Sharingan, followed by the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. The Rinnegan represents a highly conditional evolution, necessitating the presence of both Ashura and Indra’s chakra within the user.

The Mangekyou Sharingan marks the first transformation that offers a significant enhancement in power, often granting unique abilities that render the user comparable to actual Kage. However, prolonged usage of the Mangekyou Sharingan can lead to decreased vision, eventually resulting in total blindness. Conversely, the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, obtained by transplanting the Mangekyou of a close relative, circumvents this blindness issue.

It is feasible that Sarada could inherit Sasuke’s Mangekyou Sharingan, thus achieving her Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan and realizing her full potential within the story. Alternatively, Sakura’s 100 Healing technique could play a crucial role in Sarada’s advancement, allowing her to counteract the blindness induced by the regular Mangekyou Sharingan.

Despite the limited availability of Sharingans in the current narrative, Amado has already showcased his expertise in cloning. It remains possible that Amado could provide Sarada with the necessary Mangekyou Sharingan for her enhancement by cloning other Uchihas.

Final Thoughts
