Expressing her thoughts via Kusuriya No Hitorigoto, Ikuta stated, “Experiencing the overwhelming response to the first season was thrilling. It’s an honor to compose the opening theme for the second season. I aimed to infuse the music with tension, hoping to revive the enchanting essence of the series while reflecting my deepening appreciation for The Apothecary Diaries and its characters.”
Ikuta elaborated that the theme song is designed to capture the whimsical and charming facets of the central character, Neko Neko, alongside the dazzling and mysterious elements of the harem world that Maomao navigates.
