Season 6 Issues: “Broken” Warzone Attachment Disrupting Gameplay

Call of Duty: Warzone’s newly introduced Bracefire-HC Grip is being labeled as “broken”just days into Season 6, leaving players concerned about its long-term impact.

With the anticipation for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 mounting, Season 6 in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone signifies the final major update within this installment. As players prepare to transition to Black Ops, MW3 will soon take a back seat.

Despite being the last significant update for MW3, it still packs a punch. The Haunting event brings thrilling surprises and Halloween-themed skins, while various Modern Warfare 2 firearms have received attention in both Multiplayer and Warzone modes.

Additionally, there are several new Aftermarket Parts being introduced, including the contentious Bracefire-HC Grip, which is already proving troublesome for many players.

Reddit user ThisGuyOnCod highlighted that this new attachment appears “broken” as it causes footstep audio to become “non-existent” when utilizing the Tac Stance.

“This is probably by design at this point lmaoooo. Game is so bad rn,” expressed one frustrated player. “Are we supposed to act surprised? Another Update, another broken mess…,” another lamented.

The Season 6 patch notes had initially indicated that the Bracefire-HC Grip would allow players to sprint and shoot simultaneously, akin to the former Gung-Ho feature.

This caused some initial concern among the community. “I like movement in CoD, but even this is a bit over the line for me,” one user remarked. “I’m sure this won’t be game-breaking,” another added optimistically.

However, the description for the grip has since been updated, now stating: “Bracefire-HC Grip. A side-angled foregrip that provides improved recoil control, stability, and handling.”

Clearly, if the attachment evolves into a significant issue as some players predict, the developers will need to step in. We will monitor the situation closely.
