Selling Sunset Fans React to Heather’s Show with Ex-Wife of Her Husband

Heather recently collaborated with Tarek and his former spouse Christina on a video, which was met with negative feedback.

When Heather tied the knot with Tarek El Moussa, fans of Selling Sunset immediately identified him as a fellow star of reality television. More specifically, he is known as an iconic figure on HGTV for his show Flip or Flop, which he co-hosted with his former wife Christina Hall.

Now that Tarek and Heather are in a relationship, they continue to co-parent Tarek and Christina’s two children with Christina. As a result, their relationship is now being showcased on television.

On May 15, it was revealed that HGTV will soon debut a new series titled The Flip Off featuring Tarek & Heather El Moussa, as well as Christina Hall and her recently married husband, Josh Hall.

The series is promoted as a competition where two couples face off to determine who is the ultimate home renovator.

On May 14, to commemorate their new series, Heather and Chelsea created an Instagram video where they dressed alike and playfully pretended to mix each other up. At the end, Tarek jokingly commented, “I suppose it can get confusing.”

Upon seeing the promotional video, viewers flocked to Reddit to discuss it in a thread titled “so cringe.”As the title implies, the majority of comments expressed discomfort with both the video and the overall concept of the show.

A fan expressed their thoughts, stating, “Although I appreciate their ability to co-parent and get along, the idea of it still feels strange to me. It almost gives off a sister wives vibe, in my opinion.”

“Another individual also expressed their thoughts, stating, “It’s definitely a positive concept; seeing co-parents getting along is always a beautiful and beneficial thing for the children. However, in my opinion, it does make me a bit uncomfortable.”

The Flip Off is scheduled to debut in 2025, while an official release date for Season 8 of Selling Sunset has yet to be announced.
