Senna: Top-Tier LoL Support After 14.16 Rework

Senna’s healing, shielding, and supportive abilities received a significant boost in her 14.16 rework, propelling her to the top of the list for enchanter supports in League of Legends.

The MOBA, League of Legends, consistently introduces fresh updates to keep the game exciting. The developers are always implementing new alterations to prevent any one game strategy from becoming too dominant and stale.

Occasionally, adjustments are made for individual champions in the form of reworks. These changes typically aim to shift the champion’s playstyle or provide them with a completely new identity. Most recently, Senna underwent a rework that emphasized her abilities as an enchanter, significantly enhancing her abilities to heal and shield.

Ever since the changes, Senna has significantly improved and is now considered one of the top supports in the game. She has surpassed other champions in her role and her build and playstyle have undergone a complete transformation.

Senna’s rework has pushed her to being a top-tier enchanter, who sits at an impressive 53% win rate.

According to the stat website op.gg, Senna currently holds a 53.13% win rate in League of Legends. Although this may not seem like a significant increase, it is a notable improvement from her previous win rate of 49.75% prior to her rework.

The recent 14.16 rework of Senna’s patch brought about significant changes to her gameplay style. Her attack speed and damage were decreased, while her healing and shielding ratios were increased overall.

Senna’s play style underwent a slight transformation during this period. She began prioritizing the use of her Q for poking and trading in lane, and eventually transitioned to a supportive role in team fights, focusing on healing and protecting her allies.

The rework also brought about a shift in her build, with Senna now placing greater emphasis on enchanter items such as Echoes of Helia, Moonstone Renewer, and Dawncore to enhance her healing. This marks a complete reversal from her previous build, which focused on heavy AD and lethality to amplify her damage output.

It is improbable that Senna will remain as strong as she currently is, as many players have already recognized her potential and are using her to climb the ranks.

It is highly likely that Riot will make some adjustments to her statistics in a future update, however, at present, she remains the top choice for those looking to climb with enchanters.
