On August 1st, COSMOPOLITAN magazine’s YouTube channel released a new interview video showcasing actors Seo In-guk and Ahn Jae-hyun.
In the video, the two engaged in a conversation to gauge their chemistry. Seo In-guk inquired about Ahn Jae-hyun’s time on “Superstar K”and his competitor in the finale. Ahn Jae-hyun responded, “It was the first season, and the runner-up was… I know a fair amount about music, but I’m afraid I only recall him (Seo In-guk).”Seo In-guk then took Ahn Jae-hyun’s hand and reassured him, saying, “That’s alright. I am the only one who needs to remember it.”
Ahn Jae-hyun inquired why Seo In-guk had not invited him to his fanmeeting in Seoul, to which Seo In-guk replied, “I was thinking of your feelings. I was worried that you might not enjoy singing in front of fans. I apologize for not inviting you.”Ahn Jae-hyun correctly guessed the location of Seo In-guk’s fanmeeting and jokingly added, “I’m well-informed.”Seo In-guk jokingly responded, “That’s a bit unsettling.”
Following that, the two inquired about the entertainment programs and dramas they had been a part of, however, neither of them were able to provide accurate responses. In response, Ahn Jae-hyun stated, “We may not be particularly invested in each other’s work, which is why we have such a close relationship.”
When asked, “Do you think of the other when you drink?”, Seo In-guk replied with a “Yes”while Ahn Jae-hyun answered with a “No”. Seo In-guk then remarked, “But you’re the one who always calls whenever you drink, so shouldn’t your answer be ‘Yes’?”Ahn Jae-hyun responded, “I’ve always given the correct answer before, so it would be strange if I got it wrong this time.”
In regards to the buzz surrounding the appearance of both Seo In-guk and Ahn Jae-hyun in the music video for “No Sad Song For My Broken Heart”, Seo In-guk stated, “I was aware that it would become a trending topic. It was enjoyable to see fans letting their imagination run wild after watching it.”Ahn Jae-hyun chimed in, “I had high hopes, but I never expected it to continue trending for such a long time. I thought people would simply reminisce about old memories, but we ended up gaining immense popularity. I was extremely delighted about that.”
He expressed, “During the scene when In-guk walked through the tunnel to show you all, I wished there could be a lens in my eyes. His appearance made my heart flutter.”
In conclusion, Seo In-guk expressed his gratitude, saying, “I am grateful to have reunited with Jae-hyun after 12 years and to have the opportunity to work on a music video together again. I must also acknowledge the efforts of Starship and K.Will, who invested a significant amount of money in planning the project. I’m thankful that their efforts have resulted in a successful outcome. As a token of my appreciation, I would like to treat them to a drink.”Ahn Jae-hyun responded with laughter, saying, “I have full faith in your determination as a big brother. Thank you for your kind words.”
