Seo In Guk Co-Stars with BLACKPINK’s Jisoo in Upcoming Drama “Monthly Boyfriend”

Reports from the broadcasting industry on September 10th confirm that Seo In Guk has been cast in the lead role for the upcoming drama “Monthly Boyfriend” . This innovative series explores the concept of subscribing to a virtual boyfriend, where the romance of the virtual world begins to seep into reality. The show will be directed by Kim Jeong Sik, recognized for his previous works including “Work Later, Drink Now” , “Strong Girl Nam-soon” , and the currently airing tvN drama “No Gain No Love” .

Jisoo, a member of the popular group BLACKPINK, has been announced as the female lead in “Monthly Boyfriend” , attracting significant attention from fans.

Seo In Guk started his career as a singer in 2009 before making a successful transition to acting with the drama “Love Rain” in 2012. Over the last 15 years, he has established a strong presence in the acting scene with notable roles in popular dramas such as “Reply 1997” , “Master’s Sun” , “The King’s Face” , “Squad 38” , “Shopping King Louie” , “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes” , and “Doom at Your Service” .

Jisoo made her acting debut in the drama “Snowdrop” and also featured in a cameo role in the film “Dr. Cheon and Lost Talisman” . She is broadening her acting skills with upcoming projects like “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint” and recently worked alongside Park Jeong Min in “Newtopia” .
