Pokemon Go enthusiasts can engage in 5-Star, 3-Star, and 1-Star Shadow Raids each month, along with regular Raids, to capture extraordinary Pokémon for their collections. Below is the lineup for September 2024.
Niantic debuted Shadow Raids in Pokemon Go during the Rising Shadows event in May 2023. In contrast to standard Raids, Shadow Raids feature Shadow Pokémon that have been captured by Team Go Rocket at various Gyms.
Additionally, the Pokémon featured in these Raids boast enhanced strength compared to their regular versions, ultimately boosting their attack and defense stats. Utilize Purified Gems to tame Shadow Pokémon, which are crafted using Shadow Shards.

Pokemon Go Shadow Raid Bosses in September 2024
In Pokemon Go, 3-Star and 1-Star Shadow Raids are available to players daily. On the other hand, 5-Star Shadow Raids occur solely during the weekends. As a result, Shadow Raikou will be available to battle only on weekends throughout September.

How to Join Shadow Raids in Pokemon Go
To participate in a Shadow Raid, you must locate a Gym that has been taken over by Team Go Rocket. Similar to other Raids, you will use Standard Raid Passes to join; however, Shadow Raids cannot be accessed remotely.
You can obtain one Raid Pass every day by spinning the Photo Disc at any Gym. Furthermore, a Premium Raid Pass is available for purchase from the shop.
