On October 11, SM Entertainment made a significant announcement confirming that Seunghan will be resuming his role in RIIZE, countering earlier speculations regarding his departure from the group.

In response, Seunghan shared a heartfelt handwritten letter where he expressed his sincere apologies to both his fellow members and fans, along with his appreciation for their ongoing support.

“Hello, I am Seunghan.

First and foremost, I wish to extend my sincerest apologies to my teammates and fans.

Upon the release of pre-debut photographs, I experienced deep disappointment, confronting what I felt was an unsatisfactory portrayal of myself. I can only imagine the feelings of shock and anger that my members and supporters must have undergone.

I acknowledge that many were hurt, upset, and let down.

I sincerely apologize to the fans who have stood by me from the very beginning; that period was pivotal in my journey. I also express my regrets to those who felt affected by my unthoughtful actions. I carry a weight of guilt for my group members, who had to exert greater effort following the suspension of my activities. Additionally, I want to apologize to everyone else involved who had to navigate the consequences of this situation. I feel overwhelming remorse for it all and was filled with despair knowing I could not support my members.

After disappointing so many, I have reflected extensively on my ability to return to the stage or continue my journey in music. It was during this challenging time that my members reached out once more. I am immensely thankful and feel very apologetic for their decision to provide me with a second chance, recognizing the struggle that must have entailed.

I realize I have much to demonstrate in order to live up to the expectations of my teammates, the fans concerned about the group’s progress, and the company that made this difficult choice. This understanding brings me considerable pressure and fear. Nevertheless, I acknowledge the necessity of dedicating myself to work harder and perform better to honor the faith everyone has shown in me.

My goal is to fully commit to being a more responsible member, ensuring I do not diminish the accomplishments of my fellow group members. I wish to be a valuable part of RIIZE.
