On August 12th, Maeil Business Newspaper reported that Seungri was spotted multiple times at clubs on the beach in Bali, Indonesia, including the S Club, on August 10th.
According to a video acquired by the newspaper, Seungri was spotted conversing with one or two individuals, presumed to be Korean women. One of the women asked, “Will Oppa Seunghyun (Seungri’s given name) purchase it for us?”to which Seungri replied, “Yes, I will make the purchase.”
Moreover, a member of Seungri’s entourage allegedly made contact with other South Korean visitors, inviting them by saying, “Our location is just a short 5-minute walk away, join us for some fun.”
According to an August 11th report from AllKpop, a U.S.-based media source specializing in K-pop, TSV Management revealed on their Instagram Stories that they will be organizing an event titled “Burning Sun Surabaya”on August 31st. The event will feature Seungri as a special guest.
Seungri addressed the matter in an interview, stating, “Although I prefer to remain silent, my name continues to be brought up and I believe it is causing fatigue for others. Therefore, I would like to clarify that I have no knowledge of the mentioned location in the article and I am not acquainted with the name of the club. While it has been reported that I will be present on August 31st, I can confirm that I have no intentions of attending.”
