SEVENTEEN has announced their latest achievement with the release of their most recent album “17 IS RIGHT HERE.”
SEVENTEEN’s ’17 IS RIGHT HERE’ Breaks Personal 1st-Week Sales Record
On April 29, SEVENTEEN released their debut best album “17 IS RIGHT HERE”and lead single “MAESTRO.”
The album “17 IS RIGHT HERE”is widely regarded as a “best-of”compilation as it features the group’s top hits from their career, including “Adore U,””Hot,””Super,””Don’t Wanna Cry,”and others. On its release day, the album sold an impressive 2,260,06 copies, according to Hanteo.
Between April 29 and May 5, Hanteo Chart officially announced that “17 IS RIGHT HERE”sold a total of 2,967,937 album copies in its first week, according to reports. This achievement solidified the group’s position as having the highest first-week sales among all albums released in 2024.
Before this feat, “17 IS RIGHT HERE”had also held the top spot on the Oricon Daily Album chart in Japan for five consecutive days. It also maintained its reign on LINE’s Top 100 Albums Chart.
Moreover, the album quickly rose to No. 2 on the iTunes Worldwide Albums Chart upon its release, and continues to gain momentum.
The song “MAESTRO”, which served as the title track, also achieved success on various music charts in South Korea, including MelOn, Genie, and Bugs.
On April 22, the album “17 IS RIGHT HERE”surpassed 3,087,613 in stock pre-orders, according to reports. This measure reflects the demand for the album as determined by analyzing the number of fans who have pre-ordered it, further demonstrating the immense excitement for SEVENTEEN’s upcoming release.
