The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute reported that, based on their analysis of big data for boy group brand reputation in August 2024, SEVENTEEN secured the top spot, with BTS coming in second and Stray Kids in third.
The evaluation of brand reputation for boy groups takes into account both positive and negative assessments, as well as media coverage, consumer interest, and communication volume. Additionally, the weighted factor includes recommendation data from consumers who participated in brand reputation surveys.
The boy group brand reputation rankings for August 2024 have been released, with SEVENTEEN, BTS, Stray Kids, ENHYPEN, TO1, SHINee, NCT, RIIZE, THE BOYZ, Super Junior, WINNER, ZEROBASEONE, EXO, TREASURE, BOYNEXTDOOR, TXT, MONSTA X, ASTRO, ATEEZ, ONF, INFINITE, 2PM, Wanna One, Highlight, TVXQ, VIXX, GOT7, CRAVITY, BTOB, and PENTAGON taking the top 30 spots.
In the August 2024 big data analysis, SEVENTEEN, which ranked first, received high scores in link analysis for keywords such as ‘release,’ ‘retake,’ and ‘donate,’ according to Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute. The keyword analysis highlighted ‘Carat,’ ‘unit,’ and ‘world tour,’ while the positive ratio in the positive-negative analysis was 90.94%. Further examination of SEVENTEEN’s brand reputation showed a decrease of 1.08% in brand consumption, a decrease of 3.36% in brand issues, an increase of 154.02% in brand communication, and an increase of 9.90% in brand diffusion.
SEVENTEEN has announced their upcoming world tour, ‘SEVENTEEN [Right Here] World Tour’, which is set to take place in five cities in the United States and four cities in Japan from October to December. The tour will commence at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium on October 12-13, with subsequent stops in the U.S. and Japan.
