SEVENTEEN’s 9th Anniversary Livestream Gets Cut Off Abruptly — And CARATs Are Seething in Anger

This is the summary of what occurred during SEVENTEEN’s live broadcast.

On May 26, SEVENTEEN hosted a live broadcast in honor of their 9th anniversary since their debut. The members expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the CARAT fandom for their unwavering support and love over the years.

Despite the significance of the day for SEVENTEEN and CARATs, fans were dissatisfied with the overall atmosphere of the broadcast. They expressed disappointment over several issues, including excessive monitoring of the members by staff, the sudden shutdown of the live stream, and its eventual deletion.

CARATs initially suspected that the livestream may have been removed because member Hoshi hinted at a spoiler. However, they also voiced their disappointment with the decision to delete the entire broadcast made by the management.

“SEVENTEEN’s 9th Anniversary Live Problems.

  • I keep noticing that the kids are being monitored every time they speak.
  • The live was suddenly turned off without further notice.
  • As if shutting it down wasn’t enough, they also had to delete it (I’ll wait and see, PLEDIS), who are you bas**rds? You can see that they still wanted to do the live even though they’re tired, but why are you kidding me like this?”

“Can this be called an agency when they don’t even show basic courtesy towards artists and fans?”

“PLEDIS hasn’t changed much from before and now. But in a way, it’s really consistent.”

“This is really ridiculous lol. Are you crazy about deleting the live? PLEDIS, why are you doing this? I think deleted the live because Hoshi spoiled something. At this point, why don’t you delete all the videos containing spoilers then?

Did they spoil it once or twice? It was already going to come out in about 20 minutes anyway, so what’s wrong with spoiling it? The kids can even give bigger spoilers, so why aren’t you still used to it?”

Despite experiencing technical difficulties during the live broadcast, CARATs were able to end the day with good memories as some fans reported that the online stream was eventually restored.

“SEVENTEEN’s 9th anniversary live was deleted at first, but now it has been restored! The ending part that was omitted was added and they uploaded it again. I love you too!”
