On June 3rd, Seungkwan (Boo Seung-kwan) shared a photo of SEVENTEEN and Park Bo-gum on his social media account and recounted a story involving the actor.
Seungkwan recalled, “During the early days of our debut, we were still relatively unknown. However, you came up to us with a beaming smile and said, ‘I absolutely adore the song ‘When I Grow Up’.’ Perhaps you stumbled upon it and enjoyed it, but you were the only senior who praised our b-side track instead of the title song. It filled us with such pride and we will never forget it, even as we continue our activities.”He continued, “Even after that moment, you always greeted us with a smile whenever we crossed paths.”
Looking back on the past, Seungkwan remembers, “After a long time, we met again at the MAMA Awards. We were taking a commemorative photo after receiving the Daesang. Just like before, you were the first to come to us and say, ‘Congratulations! Can I take a picture with you guys~?!’ It’s been almost 10 years, but your genuine smile when congratulating us remains unchanged.”
After attending the premiere of “Wonderland”, starring Park Bo-gum, he subsequently wrote a review.
Seungkwan expressed, “I was deeply moved,”and went on to say, “Upon watching the movie, I found myself for the first time feeling hopeful that a world like Wonderland could truly exist. I hold onto the belief that one day, such a world will come into existence.”
“He expressed, “Lately, I have been feeling more grateful and affectionate towards others. While I may not be able to please everyone, my desire is to treat those who have supported me in this life with kindness. Seeing you, I was once again reminded of this. The film has left a lasting impact on me, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have met such a kindhearted and admirable senior and to have watched such a heartwarming and excellent movie. Thank you, hyung.”
At the same time, “Wonderland” is scheduled for release on June 5th. The film centers around a video call service called ‘Wonderland’, which utilizes AI technology to bring deceased loved ones back to life. It features a star-studded cast including Tang Wei, Suzy, Jung Yu-mi, Choi Woo-sik, and Park Bo-gum.
