Pledis Entertainment announced on May 28th that SEVENTEEN donated to the Korean National Commission for UNESCO in honor of their 9th debut anniversary. The donation will help create a global educational environment.
The contribution will go towards funding the educational initiatives “Going Together”and “UNESCO’s International Forum ‘Future of Education’,”which will be organized by SEVENTEEN and the Korean National Commission for UNESCO. SEVENTEEN expressed their appreciation, stating, “We are extremely grateful to have the opportunity to participate in this significant event on the anniversary of our debut. It is a great honor for us.”
On numerous occasions, SEVENTEEN has participated in charitable efforts. Every year on their debut anniversary (May 26th), the group has spread love and support to disadvantaged children globally, victims of child abuse, and youths from marginalized communities.
Starting in August 2022, SEVENTEEN has been actively advocating for the significance of education with their campaign “Going Together”.
