SEVENTEEN’s First Entry on Billboard 200 with ’17 Is Right Here’ – Details Inside

On April 29, SEVENTEEN unveiled their highly-anticipated best-of compilation album “17 IS RIGHT HERE”and its title track “MAESTRO”. The release has received glowing feedback from devoted fans, known as CARATs, who were overjoyed to see the group make a comeback.

On May 12, it was officially announced by Billboard that SEVENTEEN’s album “17 IS RIGHT HERE”debuted at No. 5 on the Top 200 Album chart. This is a noteworthy achievement as the chart ranks the most popular albums in the United States.

According to the recently released data from Luminate, “17 IS RIGHT HERE”accumulated a total of 53,000 equivalent album units for the week ending on May 9.

Following this, there was a breakdown of the album’s score, revealing that “17 IS RIGHT HERE”was made up of 49,000 traditional album sales and 4,000 streaming equivalent album units, with an additional 5.5 million audio streams throughout the week.

SEVENTEEN’s success on the Billboard charts was preceded by a notable achievement in their first week sales. The album’s performance was also tracked by Hanteo Chart from April 29 to May 5, revealing an impressive first week sales figure of over 2,967,937 copies sold.

The success also propelled SEVENTEEN to achieve the highest first-week sales of any album in 2024, showcasing their musical talent, influence, widespread appeal, and dedicated fan base.

In addition to topping the Hanteo charts, the album also gained popularity on the Oricon Daily Album Chart and LINE’s Top 100 Albums Chart. “17 IS RIGHT HERE”also secured the second spot on the iTunes Worldwide Albums Chart. Its lead single, “MAESTRO”, also dominated charts such as MelOn, Genie, and Bugs.

The album’s success during pre-orders led to high anticipation, which was further confirmed on April 22 when “17 IS RIGHT HERE”surpassed 3,087,613 stock pre-orders.

On May 9, SEVENTEEN officially released a new music video for “LALALI”.
