On July 29th, an account on X (formerly Twitter) shared screenshots of a Kakaotalk conversation with A, a staff member at a club who handles table reservations and VIP guests. The conversation mentioned SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu.
Based on the discussion, A shared a video with their friend showing someone who they claimed to be Mingyu. A mentioned, “He purposely reserved a table in a secluded area where no one would typically go at clubs. Why do you think he chose a table that others wouldn’t spend money on?”A also noted that Mingyu requested for the curtains to be closed, possibly to avoid being recognized, and ordered inexpensive drinks.
This useless person @fuck_youidiots should be sued for defamation by pledis cause this account has been spreading lies and rumors about seventeen and mingyu. When the acquaintance inquired, “What was his purpose for being there? I assume he wasn’t simply there to listen to music.”A responded, “He went to socialize with girls, consume alcohol, and departed at 4 a.m.”
During questioning, A was asked about the type of girls that were selected by Mingyu and his preferences. A replied, “He requested for several girls to be brought to his table and eventually chose one to stay with. They were all artificial, with multiple surgeries done on their eyes, nose, and lips.”A further disclosed that Mingyu revisited the club on June 5th.
Despite causing a stir among Korean netizens and spreading rapidly in online communities, the post’s validity and the identity of the person in the video, speculated to be Mingyu, have yet to be verified.
