KBS has recently announced the results of their broadcast eligibility evaluation for the four new songs by SEVENTEEN. Out of the four songs, only three were deemed suitable for broadcast, while one was prohibited due to its lyrics containing inappropriate language, such as excessive use of foreign words.
The track that has caused controversy is titled “LALALI”and is performed by SEVENTEEN’s Hip Hop Unit, a sub-unit that specializes in rapping. This is why the imposed ban, although usually disappointing, is actually embraced by fans of SEVENTEEN.
Given the ban’s reasoning, it is probable that “LALALI”includes profanity that would not be censored.
Despite rarely incorporating curse words and harsh tones in their songs, the mere possibility of a SEVENTEEN song with such elements has sparked immense excitement among fans.
