Shangri-La Frontier Season 2 Announces English Dub Release Date and Additional Details

On Saturday, October 26, 2024, Crunchyroll announced the launch of the English dub for Shangri-la Frontier Season 2, set to debut on its platform the following day. Alongside this exciting update, the streaming service unveiled the voice cast for the English adaptation as well as the production team responsible for the dubbing process.

The English dubbed cast of Shangri-la Frontier Season 2 includes several prominent voice actors, many of whom are reprising their roles from the first season’s dub. Notable returning talent features Eric Vale, known for his work on One Piece and Dragon Ball Z, and Ian Sinclair, also recognized from the same titles, among other familiar voices.

Returning and New Voices in Shangri-la Frontier Season 2 English Dub

The English dub for Shangri-la Frontier Season 2 officially started streaming on Sunday, October 27. As of the writing of this article, episodes are available to watch on the platform. The voice cast and production team for the English dub includes:

At present, it remains uncertain whether this list includes the complete English voice cast for the second season. This is due to several factors, including the Simuldub production style, which may not yet accommodate characters introduced later in the season. Additionally, the cast size appears somewhat limited for a two-cour season.

Directing the anime at C2C studios is Toshiyuki Kubooka, with Hiroki Ikeshita serving as assistant director. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu has overseen the script supervision and writing, while Ayumi Kurashima takes charge of character design and acts as chief animation director. The series’ music is composed by monaca.

The original web novel launched on the Shosetsuka ni Naro platform in May 2017 and continues to be updated. A manga adaptation started in July 2020 and is also running concurrently.

The inaugural season of the anime premiered in October 2023 and similarly spanned two cours with a total of 25 episodes, mirroring the structure of Season 2. It was recognized as one of the standout series of the Fall 2023 anime lineup.
