On April 30th, actor Jang Ki-yong and actress Chun Woo-hee made an appearance on the YouTube show “Salon Drip 2″during an episode.
Jang Ki-yong and Chun Woo-hee are set to return to the screen with JTBC’s new drama “The Athletic Family.” During a dinner prior to the table reading, the two were asked about their initial thoughts of each other. Jang expressed his admiration, stating that he had always wanted to work with Chun, a senior actress. He had previously seen her portray strong characters on screen, but was pleasantly surprised to find that she was actually a kind and understanding person.
Upon being questioned about her initial thoughts on Jang, Chun Woo-hee shared, “My first encounter with him revealed a kind and amiable exterior. He was reserved and diligent, and he had a pleasant demeanor towards others.”She then added with an enthusiastic grin, “It was also my first experience collaborating with someone younger than myself, which initially caused some uneasiness.”
Jang Ki-yong expressed his surprise when he discovered that Chun owned a car with a license plate number that was almost identical to his sister’s. Although the numbers were not exactly the same, they shared a strong resemblance. Jang revealed that he and Chun often exchanged texts and even recommended music to each other, which happened to be from their favorite musician. According to Jang, Chun had mentioned that the song was one he frequently listened to while working, and this common interest helped them become close.
In the interim, Jang Ki-yong has been promoting their upcoming drama, stating, “It’s a heartwarming story that surpasses a typical melodrama.”The premiere of the drama is scheduled for May 4th.
