The first season of She-Hulk has hinted at a potential Season 2, and here is everything we currently know about it, including information about the cast, plot, and other details.
The last episode of Disney+’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has already aired. Despite being heavily discussed, the show’s popularity may lead to a potential renewal for a second season.
As of now, only What If…? and Loki have received second seasons among the Marvel Studios shows. This means that She-Hulk may potentially be among the few whose storylines have not been fully incorporated into the MCU films.
Although She-Hulk Season 2 is not yet in development, there is still some information that can be analyzed. Therefore, here is everything that is currently known about the season.
Is She-Hulk Season 2 Happening?
She-Hulk will return to the MCU but then when is still unknown
Regrettably, it appears that this is not the situation at the moment – Tatiana Maslany, the actress playing She-Hulk/Jennifer Walters, has confirmed this.
During a Twitch stream for Codenames LIVE! – The New Class, Maslany was questioned about the possibility of a second season. She responded by saying, “I don’t think so. Our budget was exhausted and Disney declined the idea.”
Although not confirmed by Marvel, it is unlikely that there will be a Season 2 in the near future. The absence of any mention of it during the Phase Five and Six slate at San Diego Comic-Con makes this certain.
During her interview on Deadline’s Hero Nation podcast, She-Hulk writer Jessica Gao shared that she did not initially write the series with a second season in mind due to the uncertainty of a show’s renewal in the television industry.
“I have been conditioned to believe that on a first-season show, it is important to tell a fully satisfying story, as if it were the only season.”
“It was important for me to not hold back and leave things unresolved. That was my mindset throughout.”
If a second season of the show is to be produced, it will most likely be affected by the release dates of other Marvel properties, as her story is expected to be intertwined with the overall plot of the MCU. This means that if she becomes a part of the Avengers, her involvement in that storyline will likely take priority over a potential Season 2.

She-Hulk Season 2 cast
At the moment, a cast list for She-Hulk Season 2 has not been officially announced.
Although there is a possibility that cast members may change in the future, it is highly likely that Tatiana Maslany will reprise her role as She-Hulk. This is because Marvel has a history of contractually binding their actors for multiple projects.
Regarding other characters, we can anticipate – although it cannot be confirmed – their potential appearance in a second season, such as:
- Ginger Gonzaga as Nikki Ramos
- Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, AKA The Hulk
- Josh Segarra as Augustus Pugliese
- Renée Elise Goldsberry as Mallory Book
- Jameela Jamil as Titania
- Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky, AKA The Abomination
- Benedict Wong as Wong
- Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, AKA Daredevil
- Patty Guggenheim as Madisynn King
- Griffin Matthews as Luke Jacobson
- Rhys Coiro as Donny Blaze
Regarding potential new characters and cameos, director of She-Hulk, Kat Coiro, shared with The Direct the exciting possibilities for the future: “I am particularly thrilled about the premise of a superhuman law firm, as it opens up endless opportunities.”
“The doors of the MCU have the ability to bring any character, past or future, into the story without it feeling like a forced appearance. It would seamlessly fit into the narrative.”
“The possibilities are endless for what they can achieve with this in the future.”

She-Hulk Season 2 Plot: What will happen in the new season?
As of the present moment, an official plot for She-Hulk Season 2 has not been announced, as the confirmation of a second season is still pending.
If there is a Season 2, it appears that it will follow the same storyline as Season 1, as She-Hulk is structured more like a sitcom, with each episode standing alone rather than being solely focused on one overarching narrative.
During a recent interview with ComicBook, She-Hulk producer Wendy Jacobson expressed her interest in exploring a more street-level approach for Jen Walters’ story if the series continues.
“What I find most enjoyable about She-Hulk is experiencing the character’s day-to-day routine. She is a woman in her thirties, facing the challenges of balancing her career, personal life, and friendships. And on top of that, she has the ability to transform into a Hulk. Therefore, I am eager to delve deeper into that aspect of her character.”
Despite this, Jacobson did express her desire to witness the character’s relatable aspects combined with the MCU’s signature eccentricity.
The comics also feature a storyline where she travels to space and serves as a judge for the Living Tribunal. Therefore, I have two options for the direction of the character: either keep her firmly rooted in Los Angeles or explore the vast possibilities of the multiverse and universe.
