My Daily recently paid a visit to NewJeans Spotify Pop-up at Shibuya Cast Garden in Tokyo on June 27th. The event was a huge success, as the pop-up was bustling with attendees capturing moments in the photozone and fans eagerly waiting in line to leave messages for the NewJeans members.
The majority of them were men in their teens and 20s, each with their own unique hairstyles, costumes, and fashion items. They all gathered in front of the NewJeans photozone and struck various poses, exuding confidence.
Additionally, it is simple for international supporters to jot down the names of their preferred members or brief uplifting messages in Korean, such as “Fighting”and “I love you”.
Being aware that the area was filled with NewJeans enthusiasts, the shops lining the streets of Shibuya also blasted NewJeans songs. Along with their newly released tracks in Japan, “Supernatural”and “Right Now”, popular NewJeans hits like “Super Shy”, “Attention”, and “Cookie”could be heard everywhere.
In close proximity to the pop-up store, Tokyo Tower Records also featured a complete selection of NewJeans music. As a result of another pop-up store opening in Shibuya Line Friends Square the day before, enthusiastic fans filled the streets of Shibuya, donning NewJeans merchandise and accessories to participate in the various events.
