Shin Hae-ri, Former Miss Korea and Racing Model, Dies at 32

On September 14th, fellow racing model Jo In-young announced the tragic news of Shin Hae-ri’s passing on social media, writing, “Please send your deepest condolences and prayers so our beloved Hae-ri will not be lonely on her final journey.”

A memorial service is being held at Room 5 of The Joeun Nursing Hospital Funeral Hall in Nowon-gu, Seoul, with the funeral scheduled for the afternoon of the 15th.

As news of her sudden passing spread, many colleagues expressed their sorrow in heartfelt messages on her social media. Comments such as, “Dear Haeri, who was always so pure, go to a good place,” “We will miss you, sweet girl,” and “Rest now, I believe you’re in a beautiful place, as lovely as your face,” were shared in her memory.

Born in 1992, Shin Hae-ri gained recognition after placing in the 2012 Miss Korea Gyeongnam competition and began her career as a racing model in 2014. Since 2018, she has also been known as a ring girl for Road FC, which contributed to her significant fanbase.
