The upcoming tvN X TVING original drama, “No Gain No Love,”will premiere on August 26th and follows the love story of Son Hae-young (Shin Min-ah) and Kim Ji-wook (Kim Young-dae). Hae-young, who is driven by a desire to maintain her wealth, agrees to marry Ji-wook, who reluctantly poses as her groom in order to protect her from financial harm.
In the drama, Shin Min-ah plays the role of Son Hae-young, a character who is driven by profit and dislikes any form of loss in both her personal and professional life. With her sharp calculation abilities, Hae-young is always calculating the break-even point in every aspect of her life, whether it’s her academics, relationships, or work. When faced with the possibility of not being promoted, she goes to the extent of hiring a fake groom and orchestrating a pretend wedding in order to avoid any potential losses.
On August 8th, Shin Min-ah expressed her thoughts on her latest drama “No Gain No Love”and the character she portrays. Through a series of newly released still images, Shin Min-ah tantalizes viewers with her intense gaze and self-assured grin, heightening anticipation for her upcoming role transformation.
Shin Min-ah shared her thoughts on Son Hae-young, stating, “Hae-young is someone who will do whatever it takes to avoid any disadvantages.”She also noted, “Despite her shrewd approach to life, Hae-young always remains truthful and unapologetic.”Playing this character, I discovered this trait to be incredibly appealing.”
The actress shared her thoughts on portraying Son Hae-young, highlighting her focus during the role. She explained that the character occasionally uses slang to convey her emotions, so she dedicated time to perfecting its delivery. Additionally, it was her first time portraying an office worker, so she made sure to pay attention to her appearance and wardrobe.
