On July 29th, “No Gain No Love,”an original drama by tvN and TVING, released a second video of Pumpkin Market, this time from the perspective of Son Hae-young.
“Premiering on August 26th, “No Gain No Love”tells the story of a romance between Shin Min-ah’s character, Son Hae-young, who reluctantly marries for financial security, and Kim Young-dae’s character, Kim Ji-wook, who agrees to be her fake groom to prevent any harm to her.”
The video that was released depicts Hae-young posting a job advertisement on Pumpkin Market to find a temporary groom. Hae-young is seen wearing a white wedding dress, giving the appearance of a bride about to take her first steps down the Virgin Road.
Seeking a wedding partner, Hae-young made it known, “I require a groom for a duration of 3 days. I will handle all the arrangements, all you need to do is play your part. If interested, please apply for the position.”Hae-young’s strict criteria, including preferences for those without employment or even freelancers, and the exclusion of conventionally attractive individuals, strongly demonstrate her determination to find a temporary groom.
Meanwhile, Hae-young is approached in the chat by someone who questions, “Why are you searching for a husband here?”Little does she know, the sender of this message is none other than Ji-wook. Hae-young boldly responds, “Why am I looking for a husband here? I don’t want to waste my money!”As the spotlight shifts to the unfolding love story between Hae-young and Ji-wook, the attention of others is captivated.
Furthermore, the star-studded cast of Shin Min-ah, Kim Young-dae, Lee Sang-yi, and Han Ji-hyun has generated much interest in “No Gain No Love” . Additionally, the collaboration between screenwriter Kim Hye-young, known for her work on “Her Private Life”, and director Kim Jung-sik, the mastermind behind “Work Later, Drink Now”and “Strong Girl Nam-soon”, has piqued curiosity among viewers.
