Taemin graced the cover of ELLE Korea’s September issue and participated in an interview for the accompanying pictorial. During the interview, he took his time to answer questions posed by the magazine.
During the interview, the magazine noted Taemin’s influence on the K-pop industry and acknowledged that even after 17 years since his debut, the SHINee youngest member has consistently attracted new fans.

Taemin expressed his gratitude and expressed his wish for his new mini album to remain beloved by his fans even after 10 years. In addition, he reflected on his birth flower, the pansy, which was featured in his album concept trailer.
Taemin: “I’m so grateful if that’s correct. I don’t think there are many teams that were able to be active for such a long time as we have, collectively as SHINee and individually as soloists. But I want to be an unforgettable memory for many people.”
Taemin: “I think my new song would be something people will view as nostalgic 10 years from now. As the flower language itself specifies the moment I debuted, I wanted to tell its meaning, that just like my birth flower, I am always active as Taemin no matter where I belong.”
During his interview, Taemin discussed his role as an MC for Mnet’s soon-to-be-aired show, “Road to Kingdom: Ace of Ace.”He was also questioned about his most significant achievement since entering the industry in 2008.
Taemin: “Many of my juniors picked me as their role model. I thought that if I became an MC on this program featuring male idol groups, it would be a symbolic memory that I can be proud of when I reflect to when I’m older.”
Taemin: “I’m most proud of the path I’ve walked with SHINee members. We didn’t give up and we kept going. I also felt like there were many people who bonded with us with their support, so I’m thankful to be able to live this way.”
Taemin unveiled his fifth mini-album, “Eternal,”on August 19, which featured both the title tracks “Sexy In The Air”and “Horizon.”
